Chip pans are the biggest cause of kitchen fires in South Wales!
There were 427 chip pan fires last year in this area.

If your chip pan should catch fire:-

*Never try to put it out yourself.
*Leave the house, closing the doors behind you.
*Get help.
*Call the Fire Service

Never put water on a chip pan fire This will cause a violent reaction worsening the fire.
