Electrical related fires.
Did you know that in Britain the Fire Service are called to 15,500 electrical fires every year.
In our area last year there were 224 of these types of fires.
Some electrical appliances are designed to be left on at all times.
Some of these are:-

*Cookers
*Fridges
*Freezers

Items that have clocks are usually designed to be left on, such as:-

*Videos
*Microwaves
*Alarm clocks

Appliances not designed to be left on, should be unplugged at night.
Some of these are:-

*Televisions
*Toasters
*Irons

Never overload a plug socket.
Use one socket for each plug.
Never join two pieces of cable together.
Use a new longer cable.
